Yeah, I’ve heard it was “misquoted” and “taken out of context” but um. It’s right there in the article. I think where “misquoted” came from was when he got fucking called out on that bullshit.

Let me go on a Doctor Who rant for a moment, about Moffat’s writing. While the past 2 seasons have been very well done, there is a character, River Song, a time-travelling archaeologist, strong, independent, intelligent. In the last episode (spoilers) she tears apart time itself because of her neediness, her innate need for the Doctor, and to be his wife (plot twists required her to kill him), to which the Doctor responds only with disgust, then marries her to give into her needs, only to use her as a tool to fix things.
